Ryan DeLeon, RES, AAS, RMA, is the CEO of HomeLab, LLC and the head of the Mass Appraisal Division. Ryan earned his Bachelor in Business Administration from Wichita State University, where he majored in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate. Shortly after college, he began his Mass Appraisal career with the Sedgwick County Appraiser’s Office in Wichita, KS. His areas of expertise include modeling and data analysis. In 2015, he was chosen to help create a new committee within IAAO (International Association of Assessing Officers) titled the U40 Leadership Lab. Through this process, Ryan has gained many contacts in the industry, and many of them are willing and able to work with HomeLab on joint projects.

Part of the value in coming to HomeLab lies in our ability to seek out and find professionals in the industry who can solve your problems. Working under the umbrella of HomeLab allows these professionals to take on the work without having to set up their own companies, which takes time and money. Rest assured that whatever your company/jurisdiction needs, we will find a solution to the problem. In particular, Ryan was instrumental in implementing a new digital approach to mass appraisal in Sedgwick County and focusing on improving efficiency and cost savings by utilizing new technology and techniques. In 2016, Ryan was recruited by Adams County, CO, and successfully built six distinct residential valuation models, resulting in a median sales ratio of 99%, PRD of 1.003, and COD of .057. All of these were well within IAAO and the State of Colorado guidelines. Previously the county was on a modified cost approach, so no previous models existed. HomeLab aims to offer these services at cost-effective prices to allow the client to move forward and reap the benefits of increased efficiency from that point on. Whether a one-time project or an ongoing consultant agreement, we are here to help.
